What we build
Our Web Design and Development Services
Four things we build, and the page for each web design service tells you what is included and what it costs.
WordPress Website Design
The default choice for most Australian small businesses and the work we do most often. Clean page structure, fast loading foundations, and a back end your team can actually use.
Ecommerce Website Development
An online store lives or dies on the user experience between browsing and checkout, not on the product photography. We build on WooCommerce or Shopify with category structure that makes sense, product pages that answer what people actually ask, and as few checkout steps as the payment method allows.
Website Redesign
A redesign that only changes the visuals fixes none of what is actually wrong. We start with the structure, the speed and the user experience on the way to an enquiry, and the look follows from there.
Custom Web Design and Development
Some businesses have outgrown a standard website and need a booking system, a client portal, a quoting tool or a dashboard that matches how the work actually runs. This is the smallest part of what we do and the most expensive, because custom web development is genuinely built rather than assembled. A custom website design earns its price when the work runs on the site rather than beside it.

Industries
Who We Build Websites For
Four industries where we have already built the pages, learned the search terms and know what the buyer asks before they enquire.
Trades and contracting
Electricians, plumbers, mechanics and contractors. Most enquiries arrive from a phone and a map result rather than a homepage, so the site has to load on mobile data and put the call button where a thumb already is. If you want to add service pages yourself as the work changes, we build the same thing on WordPress.
NDIS providers
Registered providers have two problems a normal web project does not. What a website may claim is regulated, and accessibility is part of what an auditor looks at. Every build includes a manual WCAG 2.2 Level AA pass, the fixes, a published accessibility statement and a retest.
Dental practices
A practice website is advertising under the National Law. That puts patient reviews, before and after photos and deadline offers under rules most web studios have never read. We check every page against the thirteen advertising categories Ahpra publishes and hand you the record in writing.
Childcare centres
A parent opens your website having already seen your rating, and they are deciding one thing: whether the centre is worth an hour of a Saturday. We build the site around the tour request and connect the enrolment software you already run.
The quiet cost
Where a Website Quietly Loses You Work
None of this shows up in a report. It shows up as a quiet month.
Eight services in a single block, or six tiles that all lead to the same place. A customer looking for one specific job has to read the lot and guess, and a search engine has one page to rank instead of eight.
No analytics, no call tracking, no way to say which page brought the last five enquiries. More sites arrive like this than not.
If the site you have still brings enquiries and you can update it yourself, none of this applies. You do not need a new website and you do not need us.
How a build runs
A Clear Web Design Process From Enquiry to Launch
Most of what goes wrong in a web design project goes wrong because nobody wrote down what was being built. Website design and development runs in three stages, and you sign off the first before the second starts.
Discovery and planning
A fifteen minute call first: what the business sells, who buys it, what the current site is costing you. If it goes further, you sign off a document listing the pages, the order they sit in and what each page has to do. That document is the reason a build does not quietly grow by three pages.
Design and build
Structure first, then UX design and the visual layer, then the build, each stage feeding the next rather than bolted together afterwards. That order is basic best practice and it is the part most often skipped. You review it on a real URL as it comes together, not as a flat picture in a PDF. Changes go in rounds, enough to get it right and few enough to hold the launch date. If we are writing the content, you read it here rather than after launch.
Launch and handover
A training session, the logins, and the support window that comes with your package. You are not left with a site you are afraid to touch, and after that support is by arrangement rather than a plan you are locked into. How long the three stages take depends on the build. The figure sits with each package below.

Included
What Is Included in Every Build
Most of what people ask at this stage has the same answer. Yes, it is included, and you do not have to arrange it yourself.
We move what is worth keeping from the old site. Pages, images, posts and forms. You do not copy anything across by hand.
We set up the domain, the hosting and the email records, including a transfer from whoever holds them now.
We build the search foundations, in a structure a search engine or an AI assistant can quote from. Deeper keyword work is the SEO Launch below.
We connect the systems you already run. Booking, enrolment, CRM, payment gateways, accounting. What you have, rather than a move onto something new.
We map the old URLs and put the redirects in before launch, so a redesign does not cost you the positions you have.
We test it before it goes live. Real phones, the major browsers, every form submitted, every link followed.

Recent work
Web Design Projects Built Around Real Business Goals
Sydney Air & Solar
A family-run solar and home energy business in Peakhurst with six service lines and a website that showed none of it. We rebuilt it on WordPress with each service on its own page. The site now holds page-one positions for 13 commercial Sydney solar searches, four of them at number one.
Blossom Care Disability Services
An NDIS provider in Kings Park supporting participants across Western Sydney. Every support got its own page, then all twelve pages were tested against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the findings published in full, including the ones that did not pass.
Balkan Automotive
A Blue Mountains auto electrical specialist. Eight services that used to sit in one block now have their own pages, with a phone-first enquiry path. Rebuilt in 14 days. The previous site had no analytics, so there are no before and after figures to show and we are not going to invent any.
Web Ways Tech created an excellent website for us that perfectly fits our needs. The design is modern, the functionality is seamless, and the process was smooth from start to finish.
Ulyana Aster, ecommerce web development
Very professional company. They were able to create a website that suited our very specific requirements, keeping us informed along the way and ensuring that we were thoroughly impressed with the end product and turnaround time.
Luba Klimova, WordPress web design
Responsive, professional and prompt service. Enjoy working with this company. Many thanks and the best wishes.

Who you deal with
A Small Sydney Web Design Agency Doing Things Properly
Four people, more than 50 websites built between them. The development team and the people you speak to are the same four, so nothing gets relayed to somebody you never meet.
Vasilii Aldukhov
founder and developer
Builds the sites and runs the projects. The web developer you speak to on the first call is the one writing the code.
Anna Talalaeva
UI and UX designer
The web designer on the team. Works out the page structure and the enquiry path from what the site has to prove rather than from a template.
Alex Zaitsev
cybersecurity and technical support
Handles hosting, security and what happens after launch, including the parts that break quietly.
Anastasiia Antipova-Ovechkina
SEO and business analyst
Works out which pages need to exist and what each one should rank for, before anyone writes them.

Where we work
Where We Work
We are a small web design agency in Kogarah, in Sydney’s south, and most of our clients are Sydney businesses in the St George area, the Sutherland Shire, the Inner West, Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
We also work remotely nationwide, and it makes no difference to how a project runs. Smart Call Systems is in Victoria, Sydney Air & Solar is fifteen minutes from our desk, and both projects ran the same way.
FAQ
Common questions
How much does a website cost in Australia?
Between $1,200 and $3,400 with us for a website build, set by page count and by what the site has to do. Custom development is quoted separately and starts at $5,500. Australian web design pricing guides put a professional website at $3,000 to $8,000, and a Sydney website design agency usually sits at the upper end. Affordable web design does not have to mean a thinner build: our prices are lower because we carry less overhead, not because we cut the work.
How long does it take to build a website?
One to two weeks for a five page site, two to three weeks for a ten page site, and four to ten weeks for a larger build with a catalogue or custom functionality. The biggest variable is how fast the text and photos come back, which is why the late penalty below only counts the weeks that are ours.
Can you redesign my website without losing my Google rankings?
Yes, and it is the part of a redesign most likely to go wrong. Every URL on the old site is mapped to a new one and the redirects go in before launch, not after somebody notices the traffic has dropped. Pages that already rank keep their content and their address. We do not promise rankings, but the drop that comes from a careless move is avoidable.
Do you provide hosting, or do I arrange it myself?
We set it up as part of the build. If you already have hosting that does the job, we use that instead. If your domain is stuck with a previous developer, we handle the transfer, and you do not have to have that conversation yourself.
What platforms do you build on?
WordPress suits most business websites best, with WooCommerce or Shopify for online stores. Where a business has outgrown a standard site, we build the extra functionality on top of that rather than starting somewhere exotic. The rule is that we do not build on anything we could not hand over to you or to the next developer.
Can you work with the marketing person or agency we already use?
Yes, and it happens often. If you already have a digital marketing agency running your ads or your SEO, we build the site their campaigns point at and give them the access they need. We are a web development company, not a digital agency: we do not run digital marketing, social media or email campaigns, and we do not do graphic design or brand identity. So there is nothing to compete over.
Will my website show up in AI answers like ChatGPT?
Nobody can guarantee that, and be careful of anyone who says they can. What we can do is build the page so it is easy to quote: a direct answer under each heading, markup that states what the business is and what it sells, and facts written plainly rather than buried in adjectives. It is the same work that helps a search engine, and it is included in every build.
Do you work with businesses outside Sydney?
Yes, right across Australia, and it changes nothing about how a project runs. Our last three builds were in Sydney, the Blue Mountains and Victoria, and they ran the same way.
Who owns the website, the domain and the hosting after launch?
You do, and from the start rather than on request. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is yours, and the site files are handed over at launch. If you decide to move to another developer a year from now, you take a working website with you and there is nothing to negotiate.
What happens if I want to change something after launch?
Small changes are yours to make. We build on WordPress and hand over a training session at launch, so updating a price, a photo or a paragraph does not need a developer. For bigger changes, a new page or a new feature, we quote the work. There is no monthly retainer and no website maintenance plan you have to be on.
Do I need to write the content myself?
On the Business build and above, no: we write the pages off one call with you and you review them before the site goes live, not after. On the Launch build at $1,200 you supply the words and we structure, edit and place them, which is part of why that tier costs what it does. Most clients land in the middle either way, supplying what only they know and leaving us the rest.
Does my website need to meet accessibility requirements?
If you are a registered NDIS provider, treat it as part of what an auditor may look at. For everyone else it is not a legal checkbox, but the Disability Discrimination Act applies to services offered online, and an inaccessible site quietly excludes customers. We test NDIS builds against WCAG 2.2 Level AA manually and publish the result, including what did not pass.
Need a Website That Helps the Business Move Forward?
Tell us what is not working with the site you have. We will tell you what needs to change, what it would cost, and whether a new website is worth building at all. No obligation either way.
