What is a website design package?
A website design package is a fixed-price build with a set page count, a set number of revision rounds and a set support period after launch. Website design packages in Australia range from about $1,000 to $10,000. A five-page site for a local plumber and a fifty-page site for a national franchise are both website design packages, which is why the range runs that wide. Page count, custom work and who writes the content are what move the price, and a package puts all three in writing before the work starts.
Why a good-looking website still brings no enquiries
You paid for a site. It looks fine. And the phone rings no more often than it did before.
That is the most common reason people start looking for a new website, and it is rarely a design problem. A website brings enquiries when three things line up. A visitor works out what you do within a few seconds of arriving. The service they came for has its own page, written in the words they used to search for it. And contacting you takes one tap, not a hunt through a menu.
Most small business sites miss at least one, and the owner never finds out which one. Every service shares a single page, so nobody searching for one particular job ever arrives. The phone number sits in the footer. The home page opens with a welcome message instead of what the business actually does.
If you do not have a site yet, the same three things decide whether the one you build works. A competitor with a clearer site is winning because a stranger understood them faster, not because they spent more.
Website design packages for small business
Pick the package that suits your business needs today, not the one that looks most generous. Affordable website design packages are not cut-down versions of the expensive ones. A smaller package is a smaller site, built the same way.
You need Launch if you have not got your business online yet, or your online presence is a single page you built yourself. You need Business if you sell more than one service. You need Growth if the site has to do something beyond explaining the business and taking enquiries.

Reviews straight from Google
These come from our Google Business Profile, unedited and unselected. The profile is public, so you can read the rest of them there, including anything we would rather you did not see.

I highly recommend it.

What really impressed me was his attention to detail and how he used the latest technologies to make the app not just work but really stand out. If you’re looking for someone who knows their stuff when it comes to custom web app development, Vasilii is the person to go to. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend!

However, thanks to Vasilii, an amazing design was created that perfectly conveyed the concept of my company. The communication with the web studio was prompt, polite, and responsive, and the staff worked hard. The layouts for the designs and finished website were completed on time! I would also like to mention the convenience of using the new site, as various functions were added that I hadn't even known about!
Many thanks to this company for their high-quality work.
What every website design package includes
Whatever you pay, every website package includes the same foundations.
Mobile first, not mobile last
Most people will see your site on a phone. So we design the phone layout first and let the desktop version follow, instead of squashing one down into the other at the end. What you get is a fully responsive design, with a layout that holds together across all devices, because the user experience on a phone is what decides whether someone calls.
One enquiry path that works
A contact form that arrives in your inbox, a phone number that dials on tap, and both of them visible without scrolling.
Pages that load quickly
Compressed images, no plugin clutter, clean HTML underneath, and a hosting setup we help you pick. A slow site loses people before they have read anything.
Search-ready structure
Page titles, headings, descriptions, sitemap and Search Console connected before launch, so your pages can turn up in Google Search from day one.
What is not included
Nobody publishes this list, which is why two quotes that looked the same stop matching once the work starts. These sit outside the website package price:
Copywriting on the Launch package
Quoted separately if you want us to write those five pages for you.
Photography
We can place your photos and buy stock on your behalf. We do not shoot.
Logo and brand design
We build websites. If you need a logo first, we will point you to someone who does that properly.
Content migration beyond the agreed page count
Moving 40 blog posts off an old site is a job, not a favour.
Hosting and domain fees
These are ongoing costs you pay your provider directly. Budget around $200 to $400 a year.
Website maintenance after the included period
Ongoing support and maintenance, plugin updates and the technical issues that come with them are quoted separately, or you handle them yourself. Either is fine by us.
How the build runs
Structure first
We agree the page list, work out what belongs on each one and set the launch date. On Business and Growth the writing call happens here too, because your website content gets drafted from it. Nothing is designed yet. This is the stage of the website design process that decides whether the finished site works, and it is the one most builds skip.
Then the website development, with your revisions along the way
You see the site coming together on real pages, not as a picture of a homepage. Revision rounds get used here, while changing something is still cheap.
Then testing and handover
Forms tested on an actual phone, a recorded training session, and your logins in your hands. After that you can edit the site without booking us.
Website design and SEO packages
A site nobody finds is a brochure in a drawer. If the site has to attract customers rather than just confirm you exist, search is where most of them start, and a build that leaves search engine optimisation until launch day costs more to fix than it would have to get right.
SEO Launch, +$1,300 once
Added at build time. Keyword research for every page, on-page SEO across the site, service pages written around what your target audience actually searches for, Google Business Profile creation and optimisation with your full service offering listed, Organization and Service markup, Google Analytics connected, Google Tag Manager on request, and one pass to optimise the pages after launch.
Ongoing SEO, $790 a month
Monthly work on search engine rankings and enquiries, new service pages as you expand, and reporting that shows what we have been working on your website. Stop whenever you like. Every page stays yours.
Two fixes sit outside the packages, both $890. An Accessibility Fix brings a site you already have up to WCAG 2.2 AA, with a written report you can show a funder or an auditor. A 13-Point Advertising Check reviews a dental or medical site against Ahpra’s advertising rules, credited back if you book a build within six months.
Website refresh or rebuild
If you already have a site, the first question is not what to spend. It is whether the site is worth keeping.
Keep it and refresh
If the structure still matches what you sell, the pages load, and the problem is that it looks tired. New styling, better images and sharper copy on the same foundation start at $890.
Rebuild
If the site fights you every time you change something, if everything you offer is squeezed onto one page, or if it was built on a platform you no longer have access to. Refreshing a broken structure means paying twice: once to tidy it, again to replace it in a year.
WordPress, WooCommerce or Shopify
WordPress
WooCommerce
Shopify
Most small business sites in these packages are built on WordPress. It is the safest default: you can edit it yourself, any developer can pick it up after us, it allows deeper customisation than a locked template, and no single company can change the price of running it. Our web designers and developers sit in the same team, so our website design and development packages never get handed off to a third party mid-project. Here is how we build WordPress websites.
If you sell products, the platform question matters more. WooCommerce keeps everything on WordPress and suits smaller catalogues. Shopify handles payments, tax and shipping with less setup, and earns its monthly fee once orders are steady. Our ecommerce website design packages run on their own ladder, $1,400 to $4,900, because a shop with 150 products is not a ten-page site with a checkout bolted on. We will recommend one and tell you why, before quoting.
You own the domain, hosting and files
This is the part people get burned on, so we will be plain about it. The domain is registered in your business name, not ours. The hosting account is yours, in your name, paid on your card. You get administrator access to the site, not an editor login with the settings hidden.
If you leave, you take everything, because it was already yours. There is nothing for us to release, transfer or invoice you for first. No lock-in contract, on the build or on anything monthly.
We have picked up too many rebuilds from businesses that could not get their own domain back. That is a bad way to start a project and a worse way to end one.
Staying with your current site, or building it yourself
Sometimes the right answer is to spend nothing with us.
Building it yourself on Wix or Squarespace costs a few hundred dollars a year and works well for a simple site: one service, a few pages, a form. If that is what your business needs, build it and keep the money.
Where it stops working is when you need a professional website that brings in work, or when you find yourself spending three weekends on something you do not enjoy and still do not like the result. At that point the cost is not the subscription. It is the weekends.
Recent business websites we have built
We publish the work with the client’s name on it. Both sites below are live.
Purpose Bureau
A Sydney ESG data company, needing a technical product explained to procurement, finance and risk teams who buy it. We built the site on WordPress in four weeks, split two platforms into separate pages with their own buyer journeys, and handed over a section system the marketing team has been publishing on ever since without calling us.
Balkan Automotive
A Katoomba workshop that fixes faults other workshops send away, with eight services crammed into one page. We rebuilt the site in fourteen days, gave each service its own page and put a tap-to-call button in front of anyone standing next to a car that will not start.
Common questions
What decides how fast my site goes live?
On Launch the clock starts when your text and photos reach us. On Business and Growth we write the pages, so it starts after the call where you tell us how the business runs. Either way it is website content, not design, that stretches the timeline.
What if I need more pages later?
You add new content yourself using the same section styles we built, at no cost, and the same goes for ordinary website updates. If you would rather we did it, a standard page is $[ЦЕНА ЗА СТРАНИЦУ] and a long service page is $[ЦЕНА ДЛИННОЙ]. Nothing in the build caps how big the site can get.
Do you work with businesses outside Sydney?
Yes. We are in Kogarah and we sell website design packages Australia wide, with the work happening over calls and email wherever you are. Being local matters for how your customers find you. It makes no difference to how a web design project actually runs.
Why do website design package prices vary so much?
We checked the first page of Google for this search in August 2026. The cheapest published build was $995, the dearest $9,950. Neither figure is dishonest. Web design packages are priced by the size of the job, and most published prices never say which size they are quoting for.
Are prices really fixed?
Yes, for the scope we agree in writing. If you ask for something outside it mid-build, we quote it before doing it, and you decide.
Get a quote for your website
Tell us what your business does and how many services need a page. We will tell you which is the right web design package for you, what it will cost, and when it can go live. If a refresh makes more sense than a rebuild, we will say that instead.
